California AG in the Classroom Conference Scholarship

Conference Scholarship Available for Imperial County Educators!

Scholarship is open to Pre-K -12th grade educators (any academic subject) who want to find new and exciting ways to bring food, fiber, flowers, forests, and fuel into the classroom.

Through the generous donations of the Imperial County Farm Bureau, Imperial County Vegetable Growers Association, Farm Credit West, California Women for Agriculture Imperial County Chapter, and Imperial Valley Water there are a limited number of scholarships available to Imperial County Educators!

These scholarships are reimbursements for the conference registration fee to attend the 2022 California Ag in the Classroom Conference on September 22-24, 2022 in Ventura, CA.

Eligibility:

Pre-K -12th grade teachers; all subject areas Currently teaching in an Imperial County School in the 2022-23 school year
Interest in increasing comfort level when teaching about agriculture
Submit an application of interest by Sept. 5 at 5PM
Present to sponsoring organization on how you will integrate agriculture into your classroom.

Please note: Scholarships are provided on a reimbursement basis. You will pay for your registration in advance, and then after you have completed your participation, you will receive a reimbursement. The scholarship does not cover the cost of transportation and hotel fees. Rooms are available at the Ventura Beach Marriott at a discounted rate.
